Housing options

A housing connection that fits your next chapter.

We help adults with everyday housing searches as well as more specialized housing needs. Whether you’re seeking affordability, rebuilding stability, or exploring a supported living arrangement, we start with your circumstances and goals.

Tell us where you’re looking

Our primary service area is Phoenix Metro, including the East and West Valley. We also consider housing requests in other Arizona communities, including Tucson, based on available operator connections and each client’s needs. Contact us to discuss your preferred location.

Shared & co-living

Community. Affordability.
Your own next step.

Shared living typically offers a room in a home with shared common spaces. Private rooms may be available, depending on the property and your budget.

  • Shared and private room preferences
  • Location and monthly budget considerations
  • House rules, move-in costs, and availability

Housing arrangements and included services vary. Shared housing does not automatically include personal care or treatment.

Senior, assisted living & group homes

Start with the support
you actually need.

We explore potential homes with attention to daily living needs, mobility, and the services each operator provides.

  • Senior living, assisted living, and group-home connections
  • Review of support needs and admission requirements
  • Clarification of the home’s services and program type

Home labels can mean different things. The actual program, services, and licensing status matter when reviewing an option.

Reentry & transitional

A foundation for
moving forward.

For adults rebuilding stability or navigating a transition, we help explore reentry and second-chance housing options. Some operators may consider applicants with background barriers; acceptance depends on the individual home’s admission requirements and available openings.

  • Reentry and second-chance housing connections
  • Background-friendly options, depending on operator requirements
  • Support for adults rebuilding stability after a transition
Sober & recovery-friendly · case by case

A thoughtful review
of your next environment.

Sober-living and recovery-friendly housing options are considered on a case-by-case basis, based on your needs, available programs, and eligibility.

We clarify whether the option provides housing only or is connected with treatment or other services before discussing a potential referral.

Kindred Pathways provides placement and referral assistance; we do not provide behavioral-health treatment.

Free assistance. Clear expectations.

Our placement and referral assistance is free to clients. Rent and other home or program fees are the resident’s responsibility. Paid housing requires verifiable income or a confirmed funding source that meets the operator’s requirements. Options and acceptance are subject to availability and eligibility.

Who we help

Adults navigating
a housing decision.

You don’t need a diagnosis or a need for care or treatment to ask for placement help. We work with adults seeking housing, as well as families and professionals supporting their search.

  • Adults seeking affordable shared or private-room housing
  • People experiencing homelessness or housing instability
  • Adults getting back on their feet after a life change
  • Seniors exploring living arrangements
  • Veterans seeking housing connections
  • Adults navigating reentry or another transition
  • Families, case managers, and discharge planners
Support beyond a housing search

When another resource
is the next step.

If we’re unable to connect you with a housing option, we’ll try to help you connect with outside organizations or resources that may be able to assist.

Community resource connections

We can help you explore outside housing resources and community organizations when your needs extend beyond our available options.

Hospice & palliative care connections

We can help individuals and families connect with outside hospice and palliative care providers to learn about their services. Providers review care needs and eligibility directly.

In development

Treatment & recovery resources

We’re developing relationships with treatment centers and recovery-service providers to expand the resources available to individuals and families. When appropriate, we can share provider information or help make an introduction. Each provider handles its own assessments, eligibility, and treatment recommendations.

Kindred Pathways helps make connections. Services, eligibility, and availability are determined by the receiving organization.

Let’s explore what may work for you.

Start with your budget, needs, and preferred area. We’ll help you take it from there.
