Meet the founder
Shakara Jackson
Founder · Placement & Referral Specialist
Shakara brings extensive experience in healthcare and a longstanding dedication to helping and serving others. Her work across hospital, long-term care, rehabilitation, and behavioral-health settings has shaped her understanding of the support people need during life’s transitions.
Her client-centered approach to placement and referrals starts with listening, understanding the individual, and offering thoughtful guidance. She considers each person’s circumstances, preferences, and goals when exploring potential connections.
Kindred Pathways connects adults and the people supporting them with potential housing options primarily in Phoenix Metro, while considering requests in other Arizona communities based on available operator connections.

Kindred Pathways provides placement and referral assistance. Each home or program sets its own rates, eligibility criteria, services, and admission requirements.
Our goal is to help you explore the options with a clearer understanding of what may fit. When we’re unable to make a housing connection, we try to connect you with outside resources or organizations that may be able to help.
